Today's Special: The end?

Although I thought I'd be recapping still, I am clearly not motivated to do so anymore (Since I haven't even touched this blog since last year April - If anything I'd start a new blog... :S). I was thinking about closing the blog but since I see it's still being visited for the recaps I'll leave it up. If you'd like to keep up with what I'm watching currently here's my dramalist

It was nice while it lasted. I honestly don't know how other recap bloggers do it. With the amount of stuff I watch and the amount of time I need for other things... I just can't figure out how to balance this stuff... :S So yeah that's all

Bye D;
& Have a nice day~!

Today's Special: Austenland - Movie Review

Today I will be talking about the movie Austenland. I personally, am not a Jane Austen fanatic, but I do enjoy the Victorian era. The movie reminded me of a book I once loved called: Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler. Although they are completely different - they have a small similar aspect, which is having our modern world mixed with the Jane Austen era.
Movie Poster
I give this movie a 3.5 / 5 rating for a Rom-com because it wasn't that bad - nor was it fantastic and here's why:
  • Austenland is about a woman named Jane Hayes whose a Jane Austen fanatic. Realizing that her life is going no where she takes a retreat to Austenland - a world where you can live like the characters of Jane Austen's novels. As she experiences this new world she realizes that living her fantasy may not be as fun as she expected.
First of all, I had to watch this movie twice. The first time I watched it, I didn't really pay attention. It was just there as I was thinking about my own life. Although I recall this movie as being 'meh', as I was cleaning out my hard drive (and had nothing to do), I gave it one more try. In which I do not regret.
I'm not really good at

Today's Special: Transition?

Hi... so I haven't exactly looked at my blog for a VERY long time and I'm sorry for people who did keep up with it (although I understand if you stopped like... 2 years ago). I joined Tumblr and just completely gave myself up to Tumblr.

I haven't been watching a lot of dramas lately - instead - I've gotten into watching tv shows. However, I am watching 愛上兩個我 (Fall in love with me), 巷弄裡的那家書店 (Lovestore at the corner), and BORDER (Japanese Drama). If anything I can write about those. But I have a feeling I'd like to recap / review tv shows more.

If you like pictures check out my Tumblr. Other than that, I am very sorry to disappoint you. This blog will probably start covering British, Australian, American and Canadian tv shows / a variety of movies and products / stuff I buy. I will not be removing previous posts and recaps (I may even continue them since it's the summer and I'm pretty free) but of course it'd be so late and I don't even know if anyone would read them.

^ This explains why today's post title is - Transition.

So yeah, I am back(?)!
Have a great day! :]

Extended Special: What is love / 花是愛 Review

Wow, I forgot about the only show I AM watching right now. I recommend 花是愛!
花是愛
A short synopsis: Eva, a hard working women in her 30s is searching for love in today's complicated and free world. Her hopes for a pure love is always intervened by the realistic view on romance. When she finally meets this one man she believes to be the one. His true self, which is a player, comes to haunt her and tell her the truth about today's romance. Although she is hurt, she still believes she will find the "one". Her determination intrigues Adam (The player). The more he tries to win her back (because he wants to prove that love is in fact cruel and unreal) the more he finds "true love". However, now that he truly loves her - she won't believe him any more because he once hurt her. As both couples intervene in each other's lives they come to realize what love they are seeking for and why they were always unable to find "the one".
I really like it although sometimes it is cheesy or exaggerated but it is theatrically pleasing and with a good plot line. I love how it started off. First episode was a throw off because

Today's Special: I'm SUPER Sorry & A 真愛趁現在 Synopsis

Hello, as you can tell, I haven't been updating at all.
This post (I hope) will not be my last?

I am currently in my first year of University. I'm still not used to it... I live 5 hours from home now so I only get to go back during study weeks. When I do get back I have to work on my papers that are due the next week or study for exams. Luckily my first ever study week was actually a week of relaxation.

However, I have not been watching any dramas lately. Not ever since my summer vacation. The only show I'm kinda watching right now is called: 真愛趁現在. I am watching it off of Sugoideas.com again. Luckily it is a day to day show of around 80 episodes once again like 真愛找麻煩. The main actress is once again Annie Chen which makes me  happy because I like her a lot as an actress. George Hu is the main actor. currently 4 episodes are out. The progress is quite quick in fact. It makes me worried as well knowing it's an aprox of 80 episodes.
Here's a quick synopsis:
From what I see it is about a working woman that believed she had Cancer - Therefore could live only a couple of months. Knowing this, her family recommends

Today's Special: I'm on Vacation, there will be no updates?

Heyys! I'm currently in Korea for 5 days then I'm going back to Hong Kong. I rarely get internet connection so I can't really do drama recaps or any reviews what so ever. I can't even update my personal blog... so yeah. Heys! (:
Hope you're having a great summer if you're on break as well! (:
