Rebound is a drama about a girl name Oba who has an addiction to cake. Her addiction has caused her to become fat and get dumped and treated badly so she ends up changing herself into a skinny person under great efforts. As she's reached the highest point of her life (working in a magazine company and being confident in what she does) she gets sent to do an interview on a famous cake restaurant. There she meets Imai who finally reaches the point where every chef never wants to be: reconcinderation of whether they are actually cooking / baking good food. Together they overcome each other's fear. However... there's a cliche to it. Imai doesn't know that "Chubby Oba" is also Oba for he has only seen Oba when she was Skinny.
