So I did this as quick as I could but I still took like 1 - 2 hours. The screen caps take the longest time. If I only wrote it it'd be much faster but I'm sure you guys would like pictures right? Like last episode, if you do not know the short terms used in this episode please refer to episode 03 recap. All names will be shortened to initials only. I will not be re-linking previous episode. This episode starts off with where it ended last time which is when she was helping a little girl find her mom. Then AY finds her and picks up the little girl saying he'll also help her find the girls mom. When they do XF is very happy and AY suddenly
gets this thought. and rushes back to the stand they were suppose to work at. He grabs her hand and runs through the crowd. She starts thinking to herself is she only feeling this way because she held the little girl's hand before? When they arrive at the stand she starts asking herself if everything was just an imagination. AY gets called away so she also leaves the stand to watch DY and AJ sing.
As she's watching she realises that DY's finally enjoying himself and being like he was before. After the concert DY looks for XF and they sit together close to the a classroom window. She's eating a package of fries or something sugary. She starts to talk to him and tell him that his preformance was amazing. He asks whether she felt anything and she said she no longer has feelings for him for a long time already. He starts to feel a little down and as she points out to the stage when she said long ago he holds her wrist and looks at her finger saying that it looks very tasty. She stops him before he actually looks like he was going to lick it. And says that he hates stuff like that. He's shocked and never knew that she didn't. The scene fades out.
She's now walking with her friends towards the bonfire and fireworks in the forest area. Her friends leave her alone and tell her to find AY. She sits down and AY sits next to her. A lot of questions pop into both of their heads wondering whether they should ask each other or not. When the moment starts to settle more DY suddenly appears wanting to talk to both of them but he realizes the moment's wrong and leaves. The student who was also sitting on the same log as them gets up and starts to leave XF is startled and gets up as well. AY sees that the feeling is a bit weird and he's shy so he asks the student to sit back down. The student tells them that he feels like he's a third wheeler and wants to leave both of them shout out no. But then XF insists on leaving and uses her friends as an excuse and leaves.
She runs away and finds AJ sitting along on a hanging log. CE starts walking towards him as he's playing guitar and asks him whether he plays. She asks him to sing her a song and he starts to sing as she sits down beside him to sing with him. As he's singing XF starts to reflect on the moment she's had with AY and wondering if she should also confess like AJ has to CE.
XF walks home alone. At her door step she finds this small girl waiting there. She asks who she is yet the girl doesn't answer and only says she's waiting for someone. XF asks her mom to come out and soon the girl starts talking a bit more. Yet she starts dissing XF saying that she's old yet she speaks like a kid. And as you can tell the girl's really mature compared to XF.
The little girl Gudu (GD) says she's AY's future wife and says she's waiting for AY. XF gets annoyed and tells her to tell her what she means by that. Then Both AY and DY come home and the little girl runs up to DY. XF asks both of them who the little girl is and they tell her she's their cousin. AY gets angry at GD and starts to call his grand parents telling them that she's with them. GD gets whinny and complains about XF saying that she's very annoying and that she has to say sorry for disrespecting her. XF gives up for that night and GD goes to her cousin's house to sleep.
The next morning XF goes to AY and DY's house telling them that she's bringing GD out to play while they go to school since she'd be bored at home. XF brings GD to an arcade centre /indoor play ground yet she seems more amazed than GD. XF even helps her with GD's hair style so they match. GD's annoyed and tells her that she rather go visit DY and AY's school so in the end they go back. At the cafe they call food and and start eating as DY and AY come downstairs to meet them.
AY and DY meet up with both of them and DY even complains saying that he wish he could've gone to the arcade as well. half way through the chat AY tells XF that he hair is messed up and tries to fit it for her and since GD admires her cousin very much and even wants to marry him she ends up getting jealous. DY also gets jealous but doesn't realize it's jealousy yet. He just gets up and leaves saying that he still has class to attend. When he leaves AJ starts to bring the food in for both of them telling them to try his new creation. Although it looks weird both of them enjoy the food but GD gets angry and starts to throw a tantrum by throwing the clip and hair tie XF used to tie up her hair at her. AY gets angry and grabs GD's arm telling her that it's ill mannered to do that. GD runs away and XF chases after GD.
XF finds GD at the park. GD tells XF to leave but she won't. XF starts to take out the clip and hair tie as well and messes up her hair saying that now they're both the same and she should feel better but she still refuses to get down. So XF starts to climb it and falls back first to the ground. GD calls XF's name non stop bit there's still no answer so she rushes down and calls her name over and over again. XF starts to smile and looks at her saying I told you I could get you down. GD gets angry yet she's still thankful that XF's okay. they both start to mess each other's hair and start to walk towards home. XF tells AY and DY that GD would be spending time with her tonight and that they'd be sleeping together.
That night they both take a bath outside and talk to each other about DY and AY. GD tells XF about the stuff he'd use to do before he left and she wished he would do that again. XF promises her that in the future there will be a chance. The next morning GD has to leave and XF wants to give something to her and hands her this box telling her she can pick of them in the box. By chance GD picks out the one that AY gave to her. XF looks at AY very oddly and tries to asking her to pick something else or she could give her 3 for that one. But in the end she didn't take the one that she originally picked.
The car arrives and GD starts to take out this paper doll she made for XF and hands it to her telling her that it's nothing special and she just made it for her out of boredom. Yet XF takes it seriously and says she'll cherish it forever. GD gets chills and tells her again that it's not important then she tells XF to lean down so she could tell her a secret:
"Everything's going to be fine.
At least you're not that girl."
She whispers into XF's ear and XF stands there very confused and then she starts to ask what girl yet All GD does it stick out her tongue at her.
The next day DY has lunch with AJ and AJ starts telling him about his confession to CE. DY's shocked yet happy for AJ. AJ starts telling him about these feelings her gets and it encourages him to write songs. So now his songs are dedicated to CE. He also tells him that he wishes CE would like him cause then the feelings for his songs will be different. That's when DY starts to ask him that that weird feeling he gets in his heart and it gives him a sharp pain does he mean he likes someone? AJ then tells him that it doesn't sound like love it sounds more like a heartbreak and he continues to eat while DY starts to space out thinking about this feeling.
That afternoon at tennis practice CE tells XF that she needs to participate in the competition as well. Therefore XF starts to practice with DY. When everyone's left DY and XF start to wash up and take a drink. Then they start to play with water. XF starts to reflect and believes that as a friend DY should know how she's feeling now so she suddenly stops and tells him that:
I like AY
DY freezes up and looks at her and she has a bright smile. He starts to talk and tells her that it was very obvious and that how could she not cause she's surrounded by 2 beautiful boys she has to like one of them. She laughs and agrees with what he says. They both start to head out and see CE peeking at something and call out her name. CE turns around all flustered and leave saying Hi's randomly. Both DY and XF try to see what she was looking at and they find out it's AJ she was looking at. They end up leaving in a very happy manner.
That night AY looks for XF and they have a walk together. He tells her he's sorry for all the trouble that GD has done and that next time he'll look after her more. XF isn't angry yet he still hands her a pudding as sorry. The both start to lean in for a kiss until they hear this women suddenly yell. XF starts to help the lady pick up her things. As AY leans down to help her the lady looks up and stands up saying Yi-yi (which is like a nick name for Ah-yi). With that XF could already tell that the aura was a bit different. The lady offers both of them for a ride home. AY ends up sitting at the front with the lady named (Zhi-yi - or seomthing like that) and XF ends up sitting at the back. The lady and AY have conversations together that XF does not understand and gets fed up. As they get to the house ZY follows AY and DY upstairs to their house and she says goodbye to XF. DY can tell that she's unhappy but he doesn't know what to do. It was the first time that XF felt like an outcast from the 2 of them.
THe next morning ZY looks for AY again at his school. She looks at him with a bright smile as he looks at her with a very upset face. She hooks onto his arm and tells him that she has somewhere she wants to show him. He gets into her car and they drive away. The camera angle changes and we see DY and XF both staring at them get into the car. DY starts to feel sad for XF and wants to help. That night AY comes home very late. DY asks him where he went and with who. AY doesn't answer so DY tells him that he went to eat dinner with XF tonight and that they had a very good time but that doesn't matter to AY does it? AY gets angry and wants to hit him. DY tells him to treat XF better.
The next day AY looks for XF but she doesn't want to see him. She starts to ask him questions but he doesn't answer them properly she gets frustrated and gets up to leave. He grabs her arm and stops her saying that it's almost her birthday. She looks at him shocked that he remembers her birthday. She asks whether he had a gift and he said he didn't. She starts to remember the scene where ZY and AY were talking and gets a bit ticked off again yet AY then promises her that he's walking her home today. When she gets home at the front door she sees this gift she starts asking him about it. and he start to smile while hiding it saying that he doesn't know what it is. He asks her if she's available tomorrow cause he has tickets. She says she's not and she's absolutely happy. He heads up and she hugs the present.
She heads to her room and opens the present finding out that he got her a dress and she loves it a lot. The next day she wears the same dress her got her and waits out for him yet he still hasn't arrived for hours. Not only just a few hours but like 5 - 8 hours or more. She gets angry. and the episode ends here.
COMMENTS ON THIS EPISODE:
In the manga he got her gloves. I just really wanna say that because it's significant. If he got her a dress it doesn't really work cause she has to throw it away or like share a glove with him. I don't think she can share a dress with him... and in the manga ZY was more detestable. In this one she just seems like a women that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I hope the next episode has more character development!
